Without Traffic, You Are Dead In The Water

The biggest challenge faced by most online entrepreneurs is to get out of their cyber traffic prison. That's right. Thousands of webmasters develop good to great websites and then they realize that, in most cases, traffic is not automatic.

You're competing with millions of sites to sell your widgets. If you're not selling your own product but want to make money off of advertisements on your site or blog, you still need to figure out a way to be found among countless competitors out there trying to grab Internet users attention.

It's an uphill battle; especially if you think you know what you're doing but your logs and traffic seem to prove otherwise. It's frustrating. You hear about this or that person making money in a month than most make in year. Given some of that is hype to sell you something and make you believe that making money is easy, a lot of is true. Some people are really making lots of money online? Why? Because their sites and blogs have one thing in common: loads of traffic!

Without loads and loads of traffic, your site is just a lost planet in the middle of the vast universe. It's depressing. There are 17 year olds making $70,000 a month online and there are 60 year olds making great money as well. Do you want to be a success story also? Maybe you won't make $70,000 a month but you could make $3,000 or even $5,000. Would that improve your current financial situation and put a smile on your face?

If there is one thing you need to focus on while marketing online, that thing is traffic. Second to that, it's uniqueness of your products and services. You could generate lots of traffic one month and those visitors could never come back or worse, never click on your ads or buy anything. Why? Because there is good and bad traffic. Some sites and links provide good numbers but the traffic itself is lousy and doesn't convert very well or at all. Therefore, no only do you need to get lots of traffic, you also need quality that results into conversions.

If you don't learn some basic things about traffic, you're going to be banging your head against the wall for months and some people have for years, barely making a few hundred dollars or just a few dollars every month. That doesn't have to be you!
