Maximise Your Profits from Pay Per Click Search Engines

By: Mal Keenan

Search engine optimization is the least costly way to drive traffic to your home based business. The problem is - it is usually time consuming to optimize your site for Google and the other top indexes.

One solution I use to drive traffic to my sites is Pay Per Click search engines. PPCSEs allow me to pay for targeted traffic and only pay if the visitors actually click through to my website. This is different from banner advertising where you pay for the amount of times your banner is shown whether the visitor clicks through or not.

Pay per click companies are a great way to send instant traffic to your website. You can literally have visitors clicking onto your site in less than an hour.

The idea is to add as many targeted keyword phrases to your pay per click account as possible. If you target 100s or even 1000s of longer keyword phrases, 4-5 words, rather than short 1-2 word terms then generally you will pay less for your traffic.

Many internet marketers use pay per click traffic to send visitors to sales pages to test the visitor to sale ratio before releasing their product to their customers and more established email lists.

Google adwords is one of the most popular and effective pay per click programs. The general rule is that the more visitors a search engine gets the more useful it is going to be for you to get visitors from. Another established PPC company is Yahoo Search Marketing. Personally, I have found the traffic from this engine is of much lower quality than Google traffic.

Pay per click search engines can also be used to send targeted traffic to your affiliate programs. Although, with Google you will need to set up a seperate landing page as this search engine will not allow you to link directly to affiliate links.

In order to profit from affiliate programs with PPCSEs you need to work out your visitor to sale ratio for each particular affiliate program.

For instance, if it take around 100 visitors at 10 cents per click to make one sale of a $37 product, the profit will be $27. If the affiliate program pays you 50% of each sale then you stand to make a profit of $13.50 for each $10 spent. This does not seem like a lot but if you repeat this across many different affiliate programs you can generate a full-time income from this internet marketing strategy alone.

The most inportant thing to remember when entering the Pay per click market is to keep a careful eye on your spending and tweak your keywords, costs per click and ppc ads accordingly.

First idea on how to start a dating site

By: Michael Burlington

Dating business is a growing space with millions looking for a date and with thousands making dating places. Nobody will deny that dating became an internet business. Dating site owners can say they need profit only for maintenance and site further development, but customers are usually so worrywart.

Probably when a first dating site was started, there was a great demand for it. Now, you can see so many dating sites that probably you won't even try to compare them. The starting page of a dating site is nearly all you see, then you're free to leave it or go on with another site. Maybe we should thank dating sites for making real life trysts more and more popular? If you get disappointed in a dating web site, will you ever try to find a perfect match in life? Yes, in life but not in the internet.

Internet is a uniting place - it wipes off all geographical boundaries. Why will you ever want other people to lose chances for finding a tunnel of life and 2 boats to swim through? This is one of the reasons why dating sites go on appearing and improving. Not only profit leads people.

Don't think how to defeat giant dating services like Match.com, better think of how to win your customers. If you're, for example, from Texas, you can create a local cowboys site. Nothing spoils but your fear. You can start a free site, it'll be a big strike on paid services. We saw many time that to start a dating business is not so difficult as it seems to be. One of our managers used to tell to customers "Chance favors the prepared mind".

But why do millions of people use big and paid services? Most probably because they have an enormous database of active users, very logical, isn't it?

Nobody would say that Match.com is much sophisticated in functionality; they have billions of possible dates in their database. eHarmony has a longest registration process, and they give a most precise info for a perfect match. It's assumed that you'd never miss your matching date with eHarmony.
Jdate is a biggest local service; you can find their people from your local area without any problems.

Now have a look at Dating industry. There are some big Dating software vendors. They all appeared even in the 20th century and still are living. Most of people understand that there are chances, not big but still existing, for small and medium sized dating agencies. All depends on you and your conception, whether you want to start a dating site, or you want to compete with match.com type companies. In the first case you can be with us, in the second case you assumingly from a big company.

Is it really a struggle? Is it a fight between you and dating services? Our only hope is that it's still done for daters, for people who use all dating services. YourDatingScript company compared a lot of dating vendors; not to see who's best, but to structurize their and point out only important info.

When you think to start a dating site, think first about your future customers and then sky-rocket a website. If you ever need some help, visit YourDatingScript.com and we'll do our best to help you.

Profit With VideoSense And YouTube For Free!By: Kevin Anthony [Print Article]

By: Kevin Anthony

The popularity of video on the Web these days opens up new ways to profit from Google AdSense.

I assume you know what Google AdSense is. If not, AdSense refers to those little Google ads that you see on many Web pages. If you have a Web site, you can sign up for an AdSense account and have similar ads appear on your own pages. When someone clicks one of those ads, you get a part of the money Google charges the advertiser for displaying that ad.

The advent of wildly popular video sites such as YouTube and Google Videos offers a new way to profit off of this idea. That's thanks to the little snippets of code these sites provide that you can copy and paste onto your own site to make their videos appear on your pages. It's really pretty neat. The code embeds a video player right into your page; your visitors can enjoy then your favorite clips without leaving your site.

You can make money off this by adding AdSense ads to your video pages. This is the same as adding AdSense to any other kind of Web page, only in this case you have much of your content already provided to you, for free, from YouTube or Google Videos. To make it easiest of all, just create your video site in a blogging tool such as Blogger or WordPress, both of which accept the embedded code used by the major video sites.

Of course, you should add some commentary of your own to your video pages. You want to give your visitors added value over what they would find if they went directly to the original video site. This will make your pages more acceptable to the search engines, as well.

Do you remember that wild "Numa Numa" song craze that was going on awhile back? It was based on a Romanian pop song with an incredibly catchy tune. People by the hundreds started making and uploading videos of themselves lip-synching and dancing to it. Anyway, just for a lark, I created a blog dedicated to this craze and embedded what I considered the best or most interesting "Numa Numa" videos. Then, I would make comments on them.

That "Numa Numa" blog got a fair amount of visitors, and I made a little money off of people who clicked on my AdSense ads. But, I could never boost traffic high enough to make anywhere close to what I had hoped for.

Now, though, a new development in regard to Web video and AdSense has me really excited. It's Web sites where hundreds of people are posting videos--again, using the code from YouTube or Google Videos--and sharing in the AdSense revenue that the site owner is taking in.

One such multi-poster video site is called VideoSense. It's free to join, and very easy to learn to use. Basically, you just embed as many videos as you like and then share their URLs with friends or with the world. When people go to your video pages on VideoSense, and click the ads with your AdSense code in them, you earn revenue.

It's too early to know if this will make a lot of money for anyone. But I predict that those who get in near the start will be in the best position to profit significantly.

All such business transactions carried out through internet is called E commerce

By: Smita Mathur

Ecommerce is the way of conducting of business communication and transactions through computer networks. Ecommerce is the buying and selling of goods and services, and the transfer of funds through digital communications.

Ecommerce is precisely correspondent to a market place in the Internet. Ecommerce mainly comprises of the buying, selling, distributing, servicing and marketing of products on the Internet and other computer networks. It involves online marketing, e-marketing, online transaction processing, electronic data interchange (EDI), electronic funds transfer, and supply chain management, automated inventory management systems, and automated data collection systems. Presently, it is one of the most important features of the Internet. Ecommerce is exchange of goods and services electronically with no barriers of time or distance. Over the last five years, Ecommerce has expanded very quickly and is expected to proceed further at this speed or faster.

The boundaries between the "electronic" and "conventional" commerce is gradually disappearing as more and more businesses shifting sections of their operations onto the Internet.

Ecommerce or Electronic commerce between businesses is referred by Business to Business (B2B) either than between a business and a consumer. Rather than customers or suppliers, B2B businesses mostly deal with hundreds or even thousands of other businesses. Vast competitive advantages over traditional methods are provided by carrying out these electronically transactions. Ecommerce is often cheaper, faster and more convenient than the traditional methods of trading services and goods, when properly implemented.

In Electronic Data Interchange or EDI form, electronic transactions have been around for quite some time. Each customer and supplier is required by the Electronic Data Interchange to set up a dedicated data link. To set up multiple and ad-hoc links for companies e-commerce provides a cost-effective method. Development of electronic marketplaces led by Ecommerce brings together the potential customers and suppliers to conduct mutually beneficial trade.

How to Generate More Leads With a Squeeze Page

By: Donna Gunter
A squeeze page is a stand-alone page that is typically used as a lead generation or landing page for a special offer or marketing campaign. It offers the visitor access to some piece of information in exchange for the visitor's name and primary email address. This contact information has been "squeezed" out of the visitor, hence the name of the page. A squeeze page typically consists of an attractive graphic, compelling headline, a short list of benefits that the visitor will receive from your free information, and a form for the visitor to complete to receive the information.

Two key things to remember as you create your squeeze page:

1. Don't use a squeeze page as the home page of your website. I've seen numerous service professionals do this, much to their detriment. A squeeze page provides little content for search engine spiders to index and may block the indexing of the remainder of your site, so you hurt your chances of using SEO to rank high in the search engines.

In addition, requiring contact info to enter your website will turn repeat visitors away. The best-selling feature on my website is the sheer volume of information that I provide. I've had some clients tell me that they camp out on my site for a week and absorb what I've written before they decide to hire me. Now, if they were forced to enter their contact information every single time they visited my site, I'm sure that they would become annoyed and simply leave and find someone else to help them. And, who wants to be hijacked in order to shop on your website and potentially give you money?

2. Don't distract your visitor. Your squeeze page should be a single page with no other links to distract visitors from your primary call to action -- exchanging their contact information for the free giveaway that you're providing.

Here's what you need to get started with your squeeze page:

1. A domain name. The domain name for your squeeze page should mirror or closely resemble the name of your giveaway or a prominent feature of your product. So, for example, if you are a hypnotherapist and you're making available a podcast on how to use self-hypnosis to lose weight, then you'd want to try and get a domain name like LoseWeightFast.com. Try and get the .com version of your domain name if possible, but if that's not available, seek out the hyphenated version of the .com domain name.

2. Your give-away. You have two goals for your squeeze page: obtain the contact info from your visitors and get them into your marketing funnel to eventually convert them into paying customers. The best way to obtain contact info from a visitor is to create an information product (ebook, electronic tips booklet, special report, podcast or other audio file, ecourse, video, etc.) that will be valuable because it provides the answer to a major challenge faced by the visitor. Upon realizing that she can get some free information to dim the pain of her problem, the visitor gladly parts with her name and primary email address to obtain the free giveaway.

3. Attractive graphics. To make your product more appealing, you need to create a graphic representation of your giveaway . The graphic image may be in the form of an book cover, spiral bound report, CD/DVD cover, podcast album art, etc. There are a number of graphic artists who create these images, and there are several pieces of software you can purchase to create your own. A good graphic designer can help you with an attractive banner to place at the top of your page, as well.

3. Compelling headline and benefits listing. Your squeeze page will be rather short, but it needs to contain enough information so that the visitor has a clear understanding of how your giveway will help him solve a problem. To accomplish this, create a compelling headline and an attractive listing of benefits that the visitor will experience upon receiving your information. For help with your headline, download the free 3 Minute Headline Creator, http://www.3minuteheadlinecreator.com, which I've found to be an amazing tool to help me develop my headlines.

4. Form Creator/Contact Manager. You can simply create a web submission form within your web design software to collect the contact information from you visitors, or you can use a more full-featured service that help you create the form on the squeeze page, collect the information, and offer email broadcasting and followup autoresponders.

5. Thank You Page. This is the page you'll create with instructions for obtaining the free giveaway. After thanking the visitor for his request and providing the download information, you can also use the real estate on your thank you page to up sell the visitor to one of your products, point him to a resource on your primary website, or engage him by asking him a few questions in a survey.

6. Follow-up autoresponders. The ability to continue to reach out and "touch" your prospective customers is key in developing a relationship with them so that they move from a prospective customer to a purchasing customer. I create a series of 6-10 or so autoresponders that are sent out over the 3 weeks following a download to check in with the visitor, or to introduce the visitor in another item. The shopping cart service I use has autoresponders built in. Other reliable autoresponder services include Aweber.com and GetResponse.com.

A stand-alone squeeze page can serve as a lead generating machine for your business. With a little forethought, you can have your page created in as little as one hour.

Getting Started Online the Easy Way

By: Alicia Forest

On two different teleseminars this week, the same question was asked:

"Where do I start? With an ezine, a website, a blog, or what?"

The answer is - it depends. It depends on where you are at in your business building efforts. But after hearing this question asked often enough, I think there's something else going on ~ a request for a simple way to understand how all the pieces fit together. So, here goes:

First, you want to have a clearly defined target market, and be offering solutions to the problems that market wants solved. Then follow the steps below to leverage your time in reaching them with your offers.

1. Create an Invite Site

The first step is to create what I call an Invite Site. An Invite Site is a simple one page website where the only thing you do is invite your visitor to sign up for your email list by offering them something of value for free in exchange for their email address. For the record, the ONLY website I've had for over 18 months is an Invite Site - the one where you signed up for this ezine - and I've built a very successful business just from that.

2. Write and send an ezine.

As you build your list, you'll want to stay in touch with your subscribers. The easiest way to do this is through an ezine, or online newsletter. If you're just starting out, know it doesn't have to be anything fancy. A short article in text format sent to your list on a consistent basis is enough to get you in the habit of writing and sending an ezine, and for staying on your reader's radar screen.

3. Post your ezine article to your blog.

Create a simple blog for free at Blogger.com, give it a name that incorporates what it is that you offer (for example, advice about marketing, dog grooming, real estate, etc.), and cut and paste your ezine article as a post to your blog. The search engines love blogs because of their text-based format. They also love fresh content and with a blog you can post new articles consistently, keeping the content fresh, whereas on a static website, the information doesn't change very often.

BONUS: Record a podcast from your ezine article.

Give your audience another way to get to know you (and take advantage of the millions of people who are downloading and listening to information on their MP3 players) by offering a podcast. Simply take the content from the article you wrote for your ezine and use that as your script for your podcast.

I know this seems simple, but that's because it really can be this easy. If you put just the first three steps into action, your business will start to grow. As it does, you can start adding more bells and whistles, like graphics or different sections to your ezine, or jazz up your blog. In the meantime, keep pointing people to your Invite Site to grow your list, stay in touch with them via your ezine, and post your articles online so more people will find you.

Are All Autoresponder Leads the Same?

By: Paul Malacara

Are All Autoresponder Leads the Same? When choosing what kind of auto responder leads to purchase, keep in mind that the best price is not always the best option. You might pay twice as much or more for one type of lead over another, however if your ad pulls 3 or 4 times better with the more expensive lead it can be well worth the extra cost.

Typically, the cheaper quality the lead is, the less targeted they are and often times the less emails that get through and opened. This is why you have to buy considerably more of the lower quality leads to get the results you are looking for.

There are many schools of thought on what type of auto responder leads works best. Below is a quick overview of the different types available so that you can better gage for yourself what is right for you.

There are basically 3 main Types of Autoresponder Leads:

1) Double-Opt In Autoresponder leads. These are leads that fill out a form requesting information and have received an email to verify that they are indeed interested in learning more about whatever offer they had requested information on. After they have verified their interest, they then become a lead. These leads are typically more expensive because they are pre-screened for email delivery and interest.

2) Tier 1 Opt-In Business Opportunity AutoResponder Leads. These are considered premium autoresponder leads because they are generated on advertising networks that typically attract higher quality traffic and are qualified as business opportunity leads. These leads genuinely Opt-In to receive information about making money with their own business.

3) Tier 2 Bulk AutoResponder Leads. These are generally collected by various methods including free offers (fill out this form to win an IPOD), opt-out (where a person has applied for something or a free offer and there are several boxes that are pre-checked that they would like additional information. Whether they do want more info or if they do not notice the check boxes and uncheck the boxes, they become a lead), and various offers where they are agreeing to receive information from partner sites or other free offers not necessarily targeted to business opportunities.

Though technically these leads are opt-in leads, they are not necessarily targeted for an interest in a home based business. This is one of the most common leads sold as an opt-in auto responder lead because of the inexpensive prices.

Which type of lead is right for you? It really depends on what you are marketing, your budget and what kind of emailing capabilities you have. Test out different types of leads and you will quickly figure out what works best for you.

Boost Adsense Revenue with SpiderMan-Friendly Content

By: Davion Wong
Successful webmasters boost Adsense revenue with excellent content. Well-written content for human readers alone is not enough. It must also be prepared as tasty food that search engine spiders love in order to rank high. Just what do you need in order to optimize your content to boost Adsense revenue?

Boost Adsense Revenue Tip 1 – Make Use of Latent Semantic Indexing

Recently, Google’s latent semantic indexing (LSI) algorithm has hit the search engine arena like a storm. Search results were reshuffled and many web pages which used to enjoy high search engine ranking are dumped. In a short breath, LSI looks beyond the direct matches between content and search query text. Littering your content with a particular target keyword is no longer enough and may affect your search engine ranking.

LSI means that you need to build content that the search engine spiders would easily identify with the keyword, ie content relevance. If you are writing about shopping for MP3 players, the content should center on this topic and steer clear from irrelevant stuff.

Boost Adsense Revenue Tip 2 – Make Your Content Readable and Relevant

We talk more on recent search engine algorithm changes from another perspective. Search engines are constantly trying to emulate human behavior. Think from a human reader’s angle, and write your content accordingly. The improved rankings would really boost Adsense income to higher levels.

The reason why you need to write for a human being is also to attract repeat visitors. If you churn out content that is on laser-targeted, your visitors would bookmark your site and return again. You need not even rely on search engines for traffic.

Boost Adsense Revenue Tip 3 – Use Synonyms or Related Keywords

Instead of targeting main keywords only, use synonyms to replace one or two words within your keyword phrase. For instance, ‘boost Adsense revenue’ can be replaced with ‘increase Adsense income’. Be creative about this and make use of free tools like Google Adwords’ keyword research tool or Overture keyword tool to find relevant keywords.

You can search Google for related keywords or synonyms using the ~ prefix. Take for example, ‘~boost Adsense income’ would return results of web pages with related keywords.

Boost Adsense Revenue Tip 4 – Word Count

There is no magical number for the perfect word count. Ideally, your article or web content should have at least 400 words. There again, there are also web pages with lesser than 200 words but still get ranked high. But I suspect the word count becomes more significant when you are competing on popular topics.

Boost Adsense Revenue Tip 5 – Avoid Using Duplicate Content

Google hates duplicate content like spam. So must you, in order to do well in the search engines to boost Adsense income. You may search the major article directories like EzineArticles and Article City for content with free reprint rights but be sure to mix and match and rewrite into a unique article.

That’s all for now. Come over to my Adsense income blog if you want more orthodox but unique, never-thought of methods to boost Adsense revenue.
